So I'm currently sourcing new material from a book of paintings from the Musee d'Orsay ...in Paris.  First freaky baby from this set.  Surreal enjoyment.

The best surreal found image ever

Found this walking the high line in NYC ages ago.  Truly believe this is the best surrealist found image ever.  It's a painting attached to a chain link fence.  The painting is ripped & torn.. intentionally or not and you get to see the buildings (as well as the rustic fence supports)  in the background.  
Took my breath away when i saw it.  enjoy

Apple themed post + odds and ends

Here are a few variations on apples several of them mirrored...  old street graffiti found in NYC 10+ years ago.  Any time you mirror an image the result turns figural, based on our mind's need to find a pattern, make sense of what we see.  Pairings across the center line quickly convert into eyes, ears, mouths, limbs...

A sample of images from one year ago.  I've tried several ways to organize my photos over the years.  I've tried to organize by theme, by date, by vacation, by size.  Right now I'm just grouping them by  the month they were edited.  So here are some examples from last June.

On a hot Saturday

Here are a couple from yesterday.  The usual horror show tinged freaky shit... which gets a little old after awhile.
Seriously considering moving the work to a more happy and upbeat realm:  fluffy bunnies, rainbows, unicorns, kittens... but then I would most likely become a flaming rage bag of nastiness.  
Better to put all that energy into a creative place and stay my usual sweet self.  Enjoy

It's been a week since my last post

It's been a slow and blah week creating and editing images.  Something to do with good weather and a little burn out/ flagging of interest.  This morning however has been a good one.. so here are the results.  A few freaky faces plus some backgrounds.
