New York City: with words

I was looking for something more obscure to post today... not the current work or the usual items I print and show friends, etc.  I took a look in an old file of images taken in New York City and noticed a fair number of words and phrases... Posted below

American epilogue?
Pretty sure this is Williamsburg, Brooklyn??  security company or plumbing sign?  I know I wanted the 'go via' combined with the ' bull' .  Shot while W was still president.  As I recall the framing was a bit tough as this is a large metal sign on a roof.  Saturated to a glossy glow as many of my works were at this time.  Also probably 15 different versions made at the time.  This image is probably ripe for another edit/transformation.

and as a contrast: New York above while Calcutta is below.  Somehow go together?

another word pairing, both NYC.  The first an advert for the Edie Falco TV show, Nurse Jackie.  The second: a random sign.  I do like odd word pairings and the Duchamp/Magritte
wordplay as it heads toward surrealism.

street poster/sticker in decay

Miro at the Met

street

ala Warhol.  old shop sign
And finally... found in Boston at the contemporary art museum, in the bathroom, during the Shepard Fairy exhibition.  Someone is having some fun
