Dough Boy

Here is another example of what mirroring can do to an image.  First:  found in Amsterdam many years ago... this is the base image.  I liked the graffiti'd figure + wood grain + the chain.  Don't think I had hight hopes that it would turn into something special.  Also I tend to take just one photo when I find something I like so if it doesn't transform... oh well.

Here is what I ended up with after mirroring.  There are additional edits; color is inverted, imaged flipped, cropped, sharpened, bulged a bit,etc.  I like the ghost in outer space feel as well as the usual patterning that happens when you mirror an image.

Finally some third and fourth generation iterations of the above.  I like this one for it's happy color cheer and google-y eyes.  Notice the chain starts to fade as a point of interest

Lastly... An edit I did on the above just now before loading it onto the blog.  More detail due to black being added.  The rosy red seems to darken the emotional tone as well.
